I like being a house captain because all the younger children look up to me and imagine themselves being a house captain in the future. I also like it because if our team win something, we have to collect the award. We also get to have the responsibility of looking after the giant leek, that has belonged to the house captains from years gone by. It means a lot to me. My brother was a house captain, and it's nice to be able to follow in his footsteps. I have dreamed of becoming house captain since day 1 at school.
