Year 3/4 Dartmoor Field Trip

Last week, Years 3 and 4 had a wonderful geography field trip to Dartmoor. After meeting our guides in Postbridge, we made our way into Bellever Forest. We were able to see and discuss human and physical geographical features, learn about flora and fauna and also hear some Dartmoor myths and legends. We walked along part of the sinister Lych Way, and were able to immerse ourselves in the rich archaeology of the area by learning about hut circles, cists and stone rows. We were lucky enough to witness some breathtaking views as the weather was very kind to us!
