We're a happy parish school nestling in the South Devon countryside. We're home to 150 pupils during a normal busy school day, and afterwards, return them to their families in Ermington and surrounding villages.
The latest Ofsted Report for the school can be found on the About Us page.
Water Safety
The Environment Agency is urging young people planning to go swimming, fishing, cycle or simply hang out with friends down by their local river over the summer holidays to be aware of the dangers posed by fast-currents, cold water, structures such as weirs and locks, and unstable riverbanks.
Each year around 50 children under the age of 16 drown. It is the third most common cause of accidental death amongst young people.
The Agency in partnership with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) has designed this leaflet called 'Be Safe around water'.
School Chef Of The Year 2009
Devon's Ermington County Primary School chef, Debbie Mumford, with pupils Charlie Hoare, 11, and Matthew Willcocks, and hen 'Miss Beautiful'.
Debbie beat contestants from the whole of England in the finals held at Sheffield and has been judged the School Chef of the Year 2009.
